“All the News That’s Unfit to Believe”

About the Paper

About Paranormal Daily

A daily newspaper of the internet’s strangest corners: UFO and UAP sightings, ghosts, cryptids, channeled messages, ancient mysteries and the paranormal boards, reported with a straight face every morning.

What we print

Every morning Paranormal Daily reads the strangest corners of the internet: UFO and UAP blogs, ghost and cryptid reporters, channeled messages from star beings, synchromystic decoders, ancient-mystery sites, the weird-news wires and the paranormal boards of Reddit and 4chan. The most remarkable reports become the day’s edition, written up in the voice of an old-fashioned broadsheet that keeps a perfectly straight face.

How an edition is made

  1. At dawn we collect everything our 37 correspondents have published in the last day and a half.
  2. An AI editor (Anthropic’s Claude) reads the whole wire and picks the strangest, most substantial stories, plus a column of briefs.
  3. For each story, Claude reads the full original and writes a short news article from it.
  4. The edition is printed, and the previous day’s paper moves to the archive.

Editorial standards

  • Claims are reported, not endorsed. Every claim is attributed to the person or site making it. Nothing paranormal is ever stated as fact, and where a source offers a mundane explanation we say so.
  • Every story names and links its source. Each article ends with where it came from and a link to the original post, so you can judge it for yourself.
  • No invented facts. Writers may only use names, places, dates and quotes that appear in the source; quotes must be verbatim.
  • Privacy. We never print the usernames of forum posters, and we leave out posts that single out private individuals or read as someone’s real crisis.
  • Written by AI. The articles, briefs, weather and omens are written by Claude, an AI model, following these rules. Mistakes are possible; the original source is always one click away.
