Motorist Reports Two Tall Gray Figures Crossing Nevada Highway at Night

FALLON, NEV. — A driver traveling Highway 95 between Fallon and Lovelock, Nevada, on the night of October 11 reports a brief encounter with two tall, gray, human-shaped figures, according to a post on the r/Humanoidencounters forum on Reddit.

The author, a Reddit user posting to that community, writes that a semi-truck was following about 200 feet behind when a sudden sense of dread, unlike any the writer had felt before, came over them. Moments later, the post says, the truck's brakes were applied sharply, and the driver glanced in the mirror.

Looking back at the road, the author says, two figures crossed it at a sprint. They are described as human in form, tall and a solid gray, with visible arms, legs and fingers, and what the writer calls a sort of mist around them as they moved. In a follow-up note, the author adds that the figures were seen in side profile and appeared very smooth, with little definition to the body.

The writer considers and rejects the obvious explanations. Fatigue and hallucination are weighed, as are deer, but the post insists that deer do not run on two legs. The author also wonders why the trucker braked before the figures were seen, and whether the trucker saw the same thing.

The post adds that the semi afterward dropped well back and traveled about 15 miles per hour under the limit, never closing the gap. The author wonders whether the driver wished to keep away from the car. No one else has corroborated the account in the post.

In an addendum written hours after the event, the author says a heavy sadness and dread has persisted and cannot be shaken. The writer asks whether anyone else has had a similar experience.
