Segmented Object Spotted on Rhodes Airport Webcam; Author Pronounces It 'Alien Craft'
A UFO blogger scanning live camera feeds says he found a metallic, arm-like shape in the sky over a Greek airport and had an AI tool sharpen the image.
RHODES, GREECE — A still image from a public webcam trained on Rhodes International Airport has drawn the attention of Scott C. Waring, author of the blog UFO Sightings Daily, who reports that it shows a segmented, metallic object hanging in the sky above the Greek airfield. The sighting is dated October 12, 2026.
According to the post, Mr. Waring habitually watches live camera feeds in search of the unexpected, calling the practice a way of being everywhere at once. He writes that the image was on the main screen of the Skyline Webcams site when he came upon it, and he advises readers that it may still be there, adding only, "Good luck."
The author then describes asking Google's AI to focus the object, without telling it what he believed he was looking at. The sharpened version, he states, is "100% an alien craft." The post does not describe the object's size, distance or movements, and offers no statement from airport staff, pilots or air traffic controllers. No mundane explanation, such as an insect, a lens artifact or processing effects of the enhancement tool, is considered in the post.
For context, Mr. Waring recalls the O'Hare Airport sighting of November 7, 2006, in which a metallic disk is said by witnesses to have hovered for five minutes before shooting upward through the clouds and leaving a hole visible for over fifteen minutes. He also writes that UFOs are well known for visiting airports and disrupting flights.
The author closes by noting that Greece lies near an alien base said to exist beneath Rocca Pia, Italy, and to extend miles under the sea. He attributes this to the Friendship Case, a contact case he describes as thirty years old, and says the base is called W56. The webcam image itself was published with the post; its authenticity has not been independently verified.
