Patrons Ask for 'Fourth Girl' at Establishment Employing Only Three

THE INTERNET — A Reddit user posting to r/Paranormal has described a curious staffing irregularity at a small, licensed adult entertainment business run by the mother of the author's best friend. The venue, the author says, keeps exactly three workers on any given night, and has for years.

According to the post, roughly one client in ten, by the proprietor's estimate, emerges to pay or rebook and asks for a "fourth girl," described each time as blonde and wearing a white dress. Some patrons reportedly grew irritated on being told no such person exists, suspecting an upsell or a reserve held for favored customers. A few are said to have sworn they saw her smiling at the end of a corridor.

The author argues that the consistency of the description among strangers marks a pattern rather than a single drunken muddle. None of the women who have worked there, the post states, matched the description or wore white on shift.

The account adds that staff and customers alike hear a woman's voice saying "hi" on arrival and "bye" on departure, in the manner of a receptionist, though the premises have none. Longtime employees reportedly scarcely react any longer, and one is said to return the farewell.

No one has felt threatened, the author writes, and the friend has found no history of death or tragedy at the building. The post closes by asking whether others have heard of a spirit that keeps "working," and why only male clients appear to see her. No explanation was offered in the source, and the account remains secondhand and unverified.
