Anonymous Poster Says Unseen Entity Has Announced Comedian's Imminent Death

A /x/ user, who admits not knowing who the man is, reports a warning about Bert Kreischer and cites the entity's earlier notice of Val Kilmer's death.

Strangeness 3 of 5

An anonymous poster on 4chan's /x/ board claimed on October 10 that an entity which speaks to them has announced that comedian Bert Kreischer is "about to die," probably that same day. The post carries no evidence beyond the author's word.

The author writes that they had never heard of Mr. Kreischer and thought only "Who?" when told. On looking him up, they say, his health appeared to be in decline. The entity, the poster states, usually gives its notices minutes or hours before a death, or at the exact second of it.

As precedent, the poster cites the actor Val Kilmer. The entity, they say, announced his death; they went to sleep, and the next day his death was reported, with the stated time of death falling roughly at the moment of the entity's message. The post offers no timestamps. One reply asked when Mr. Kilmer had died at all.

The thread's thirty replies were mostly unconvinced. Several demanded the entity provide more useful information, or predict the deaths of more widely known Americans. One asked how a being could know the future, since, in that user's view, only God does. Others suggested the entity was an AI chatbot, or a surveillance network. One poster joked with an agent's number and a time of 23:59.

A smaller faction turned to gematria, the practice of assigning numbers to words. One user said the date, the comedian's full name and the phrase "blood sacrifice" shared values in certain ciphers, while stating they were not predicting his death. Another noted the comedian's Jesuit high school and his nickname, "The Machine."

At the time of writing, the post's central prediction had not been confirmed by the source material. One reply observed that if nothing happened, the poster would be remembered for a failed prediction. Paranormal Daily wishes Mr. Kreischer a long and uneventful evening.
