Anonymous Poster Claims Three Years Inside Occult Order, Offers Boards First Look
The author of a thread on /x/ says an outage delayed the disclosure; respondents largely suspect a hoax but debate Thelemite schisms and loosh anyway.
4CHAN /X/ — An anonymous poster on 4chan's /x/ board announced this week that they had spent three years earning the trust of what they called "very dangerous occultists" and had penetrated the group's inner circle. The author says the account is true, and that the media has already been approached.
The poster opened by suggesting that an outage which prevented an earlier attempt to publish was no coincidence. They described the board as a place that opened their eyes to the real evil of the world, and offered it the first look at the group's secrets. The opening post named no members and gave no specifics.
Pressed by readers on which branch of occultism was involved, a poster who appeared to be the author replied that the group is an amalgam order of worshippers of pagan gods with strong Thelemic influence, some Typhonian and some more aligned with Crowley, studying subjects from Theosophy to chaos magick.
Reception was cool. Several respondents declared the thread a LARP, or live-action role-play. One noted that the terms used are genuine, while doubting that traditional and Typhonian Thelemites would cooperate, given the well-known schism between Kenneth Grant and Israel Regardie. Another compared dismissal of the jargon to calling Buddhist terms "buzzword soup."
The conversation then turned to loosh, a notion of emotional energy harvested by beings. The apparent author claimed members rolled their eyes or laughed at it, calling it New Age nonsense, though one reportedly said that one should feel without guilt. Other posters mocked the idea. One announced that God had destroyed the order last week, and urged readers to watch Vatican news on October 27th. No evidence for any claim was offered. The thread had 29 replies at press time.
