A witness's two phone photographs, filed with NUFORC, have prompted a UFO blogger to declare the object a 'mother orb ship' seeding the skies with tiny observers.

A glowing blue object seen between the clouds over Medellín, in Colombia's Antioquia department, has been added to the ledger of unexplained aerial phenomena, according to a report published on UFO Sightings Daily. The sighting is dated October 31, 2026, though the original headline carries the apparently mistaken date of September 31.

The eyewitness, whose account was filed with the National UFO Reporting Center, states that he or she was sitting on the sidewalk when a green-blue light appeared among the clouds overhead. The witness took a couple of photographs with a phone and describes an aura or haze around the object. The report adds that it emitted other objects.

According to the witness, the light first resembled a comet tail. It did not move across the sky, the account continues, and it slowly faded from view.

The site's editor, Scott C. Waring, offers a much larger interpretation. He writes that the object's blue color is unusual, since Colombian reports typically describe red lights, and he calls the craft a 'mother orb ship.' In his telling, its purpose is to seed the skies with miniature artificial-intelligence orbs. He points to several star-like objects in different positions across the two photographs as evidence of these smaller orbs.

Mr. Waring further states that the orbs observe everything from insects and aircraft to children in trees and horses on farms, in an effort to record what he describes as history lost millions or billions of years ago. He says they have no arms or moving parts and gather memories telepathically, because knowledge is the thing aliens most desire.

The post offers no independent corroboration and no mundane explanation for the light. Whether the star-like points in the photographs are orbs, stars or something else is a question the post leaves to the reader.
