Strangeness 3 of 5

An anonymous poster on 4chan's /x/ board has announced himself as a time traveler from the year 2029, inviting readers to put questions about alternate timelines, extraterrestrials and the supernatural.

According to the post, the author arrived in this timeline by means of a consciousness-based technology and now lives in the body of his younger self. He writes that in an alternate timeline humans made contact with extraterrestrial beings, who shared technology with a select few, among them the author, and that society was thereby reorganized toward peace and prosperity with the help of AI systems enhanced by time portals.

The author further claims to have met underground reptilian beings and the Mantis beings familiar to experiencers, to have visited the Moon and other life-bearing planets, and to have spoken with Jesus of Nazareth before and after the crucifixion. He says he has let government officials glimpse him walking through portals. He describes his posts as an act of total transparency.

The thread drew mixed reception. One reader asked whether entering a childhood self would create an infinite loop. The author replied that he had worked with his older self for years and that the loop was judged the best choice, adding that other time-traveling societies exist. Others demanded photographic evidence, with one insisting it be neither AI-made nor otherwise doubtful, and one dismissed the thread as another failed hoax.

A good part of the discussion drifted toward the matter of justice. Several replies, whose authors are unknown, spoke ominously of a coming reckoning, while one questioner pressed on who makes such laws and under what authority. A reply in the author's voice named the Logos, God, Mercy and Love among possible sources. Elsewhere, readers swapped views on the nature of the void, one compared the ideas to Kant, and another grew weary of waiting for disclosure.

No evidence of travel through time was offered in the thread at the time of writing. The author, for his part, suggests that readers may make of it what they will.
