Horned Figures Seen Dancing on Hilltop Near Segovia, Then Vanish at Dusk

SEGOVIA, SPAIN — A group of friends walking through farmland near Segovia, Spain, reports having watched a pair of strange figures on a distant hilltop near sunset, according to a Reddit user posting to r/Humanoidencounters.

The author says the figures stood between two trees on the crest of a hill, about 400 metres away, a distance the poster states was measured afterward on Google Earth. From afar they looked humanoid, the post says, but on closer inspection they appeared to have horns, limbs that seemed disconnected from the torso, and holes in the chest and shoulders.

Two of the figures, the author writes, were behaving oddly, walking about in what is described as an almost dancing manner. The post states that they then vanished into thin air. The witnesses managed to take a photograph, and the author has attached both the original and an enlarged copy, which the poster stresses was not enhanced.

Notably, the author does not insist on a supernatural explanation. The post asks whether the low sunset light might simply be playing tricks on the eye and on the camera, and invites readers to weigh in on whether it could be something otherworldly instead.

The poster also appeals for similar accounts, asking whether anyone has encountered human-shaped figures with openings through the head or torso, apparently detached limbs, horn-like heads, or jerky movements followed by sudden disappearance. At the time of writing, this newspaper has no independent confirmation of the sighting.
