Lunch-Hour Meditator Reports Cables of Energy Attached to Chest

THE ASTRAL PLANE — A Reddit user posting to r/Experiencers has described what the author calls an intense visual and physical episode, which occurred during a lunchtime meditation session the previous day.

According to the post, the author was engaged in a daily practice abbreviated as "AP". The author writes that recent sessions have been aimed at exploring channeling and making contact with what the writer perceives as a more collective form of consciousness.

At one point, the post states, the meditator saw a bundle of thick cables made of energy, resembling underground power lines. Some of them moved toward the author like snakes, in a manner described as very psychedelic. The cables were reportedly connected to the author's chest, whereupon a rush of heat and energy was felt in the chest and solar plexus.

The author says they responded mentally with the words "Yes, I accept," and that the sensation continued. It was not uncomfortable, the post reports, but exhilarating and a little nerve-racking, likened by the writer to a rollercoaster. Visuals and bodily sensations felt completely connected.

The post adds that the experience did not fade of its own accord but seemed to go on for as long as the author permitted, ending only when the meditator had to return to work. The author closes by asking whether others have had similar experiences, particularly visuals that appear to interact with the body and produce strong physical sensations.
