Lego Legs Land on Sofa-Sitter's Thigh After Quarter-Hour of Absence

A Reddit user reports that a missing minifigure part appeared on their leg in a manner that, they say, only a thrown object could explain.

Strangeness 2 of 5

A Reddit user posting to r/Glitch_in_the_Matrix has submitted an account of what they describe as a glitch in the fabric of reality, the scene of which was an ordinary sofa and the instrument of which was a small plastic pair of legs.

According to the post, the author had been taking apart some Lego sets while seated on the sofa, and had separated one minifigure into its parts. The author then left the room for dinner, closing the door behind them. They returned some twenty to thirty minutes later and resumed their seat.

The author writes that they did not at first notice the minifigure's legs were missing. They sat for roughly fifteen minutes looking at their phone. Then, they report, the legs landed on their thigh.

The writer stresses the geometry of the matter. They were sitting with their knees drawn up and bent, and the piece came to rest on the thigh in a way that, in their judgment, would only have been possible had someone thrown it. The post names no other person present, and the door, by the author's account, had been shut.

The author says they realized at once that the piece could not have arrived there by ordinary means, and that they still cannot explain it as anything other than something mystical. The post offers no mundane explanation, though readers may wish to consider that small objects are known to lodge in cushions and fabric folds and to shift when a sitter moves. The author does not say whether this was considered.

No further developments were reported. The legs, according to the account, were recovered.
