Masked Figure in Blue Jeans Turns Up on Student Trail Camera in North Idaho
A wildlife class group says an unexplained figure appeared on one of its cameras, and no member of the crew will own up to the prank.
NORTH IDAHO — A trail camera set for a university wildlife class in north Idaho has produced an image its operators cannot readily explain, according to a post on the r/Paranormal forum on Reddit.
The author, a Reddit user posting to the board, writes that the figure appears to be a man in a mask and blue jeans. The author adds that the first picture should make this plain. The post offers no further description of the creature, and the images themselves were not available to this reporter.
The camera, the author says, stood near an occasionally traveled gravel road but was not visible from it. Every member of the student group has denied staging the picture, and the author says they believe their classmates. The author also notes that only the group, a teaching assistant and a professor would have had the access codes to the equipment. The author calls it a "weird amount of effort for a prank."
The poster's own working theory is a plain one: that the figure is simply a man. The post does not suggest anything supernatural in so many words, though it was submitted to a paranormal forum.
More evidence may follow. The author says the actual photographs should be available in a week or less, once images are pulled from all 24 of the group's trap cameras and uploaded to Wildlife Insights for the class project. Until then, the matter of the masked visitor remains unresolved.
