A YouTube channel about horses and homestead life has turned, briefly, to the matter of a furry limb in the frame.

A Missouri homesteader believes a trail camera set deep in the woods has photographed a Bigfoot in the act of reaching around the device, according to a report published by 100.9 The Eagle and relayed by The Anomalist.

The man runs the YouTube channel Homestead Horsemanship, which the report says normally documents life in the Ozarks and the keeping of horses rather than cryptid matters. He does not give his exact location. A family member, the report states, placed the camera far from regular trails. The photograph appears near the end of a recent video.

The homesteader offers several points in support of his view. According to the report, the camera was taken off its tree but neither it nor its memory card was stolen, which he takes to mean a human thief is unlikely. He also holds that the camera sat too high for a person in a costume to reach, and that its infrared function is visible to such creatures, which would explain why they avoid walking in front of cameras.

The article's author stops short of endorsing the claim. He says he does not know whether a Bigfoot was captured, but considers the homesteader sincere and notes that the man does not usually seek attention with such content. The furry arm in the image is, he writes, certifiably odd, and whether it is a Bigfoot is left to the reader.

The item appeared in a wider digest of autumn Bigfoot news. It also cited a New York Post report of 79 sightings listed by the BFRO in New Jersey, and a Popular Mechanics account of a New York hunter who claims to hold a Bigfoot corpse. Cornell University, the digest says, denies involvement in any such analysis.
