A house said to contain nine rooms and to offer $500 to anyone who reaches the last of them is the subject of a new episode of the Weird Darkness podcast, released under its Midnight in the Macabre banner. According to the program's description, nobody has ever collected.

The tale, titled "No End House," is credited to Brian Russell and appears on the Creepypasta Wiki. It is a work of horror fiction, and the podcast presents it as such, within a series devoted to tales of the macabre.

As summarized in the episode notes, the narrator, David, has a friend named Peter Terry who attempts the house. Peter then vanishes from the internet for five weeks. When he finally logs on, the notes say, he warns David that the place is unnatural.

David, according to the same summary, is unmoved. He concludes that a heroin addict has simply been rattled by what he calls a paper ghost. The description does not say whether that judgment holds up, and listeners are left to find out for themselves.

The episode is available through Spreaker. The show's notes give no further details of the nine rooms.
