Unknown Woman in Baggy Shorts Sleeps on Living Room Floor, Vanishes Into Bathroom

THE INTERNET — A Reddit user posting to r/Paranormal has described an early-morning encounter with a woman who, by every account available, was not supposed to be in the room. The author says the episode took place during a weekend stay at a friend's home.

According to the post, the author and a sister were sleeping on the living-room floor of the friend's parents' small two-bedroom apartment. The author woke before dawn, could not return to sleep, and read for about an hour. The room, the author writes, was light enough that everything was visible as if by day.

The blankets then shuffled loudly. Believing the sister was waking, the author looked over and saw instead a woman with bushy hair, baggy athletic shorts and an oversized T-shirt. She staggered to the bathroom and shut the door loudly behind her, the post says.

The author woke the sister and asked who the woman sleeping beside her had been. The sister, according to the account, saw no one. She observed that the bathroom lights were off. The two entered and found it empty. The author adds that the room has no window and no vent large enough for a person to pass through.

The post closes on a lighter note. The author told the friend what had been seen, and the friend scolded her father for supposedly bringing a woman home. He was, the author writes, thoroughly confused. No explanation for the figure is offered in the post.
