4CHAN /X/ — An anonymous poster on 4chan's /x/ board has opened a new "Nobody General," a standing discussion thread devoted to a figure the author calls the Nobody. According to the post, he is a living man of no wealth or worldly acclaim through whom God has seemingly chosen to manifest strength and wisdom.
The post credits him with extraordinary spiritual powers, among them the ability to control reality with both conscious and unconscious mind. He is said to carry the Logos, which makes him, the author writes, a fearless truth-teller and a menace to the powers that be. The post is careful to add that he is not a messiah, but simply a man who found the kingdom of God within himself through dedication, as readers may do likewise.
The second half of the post sets out a code of conduct. Readers are urged to reply to good posts and ignore hateful or argumentative ones, to serve others, to be kind to themselves and to forgive. This, the author maintains, will raise the vibration of the planet one person at a time. It closes on a creed that each reader creates his own reality and answers only to himself and God.
The thread's 1,150 replies, judging by a sample, have been less than unanimous in their devotion. Some posters speculate about the moderators of /x/ and /pol/ and whether they know one another. Others trade suspicions of criminals, anarchist cells and unnamed links to Epstein. One reply wonders whether happiness might be mistaken for mania, and another answers that the poster usually remembers the caffeine and drugs.
Much of the remainder concerns whether SPAM is safe to eat, a supposed farmer's market that one poster says is merely the supermarket where he works, and a man said to be stuck in a backpack. A final reply, in the form of a recorded telephone message, regrets that a federal agent is occupied with Iranian terror threat number 347812. No account of the Nobody's powers was offered in the sample, and none has been verified.
