DISPATCHES FROM THE BOARDS

Poster Recalls Descent to Earth, Warning From Sentinel at Oval Door

A Reddit user on r/Experiencers describes a lifelong pre-birth memory of a blueprint review, a towering monitor, and a vortex leading to the blue planet.

Strangeness 3 of 5

A Reddit user posting to r/Experiencers has set down what the author calls a lifelong memory of the journey that preceded birth, and says it has been shared with no one but a twin brother until now. The author writes that as a child they took the recollection for a mental mistake, and that human language remains a poor vehicle for it.

According to the post, the memory begins in a state of total immersion, in which the author passed through successive levels while knowledge and memory dissolved a little at each threshold. Along the way, the author reports, came a pause point resembling a pre-game huddle, a final review of a meticulous blueprint of the human earth design.

The central scene, as told, occurs at a massive oval doorway built like a ship's hull. Other beings passed in both directions, and a towering sentinel stood against the bulkhead like an administrator directing transit. The author says they turned and demanded to remember. The being, according to the post, replied that remembering all knowledge would only encumber the design and introduce vulnerabilities.

The author describes revulsion at the prospect of a body that needs fuel, processes waste and dies. Even so, the descent continued, through a brilliant light likened to the tunnel of near-death accounts, but travelled in the opposite direction, and into a dark staging area. There, the writer says, a vortex opened onto the blue curve of the planet, and the soul of the future twin waited nearby.

The account closes in the delivery room. The author, born second, says they felt calm, then relief at hearing the brother's cry. The post adds that breathing complications kept the author in hospital a few extra days.

Later in life, the author states, a non-traditional meditation technique sharpened the fragments. The post concludes that reality is layered and engineered, and that death is a transition rather than an end. Its last line holds that the monitor at the door was right. No corroboration accompanies the account.
