Tall Calm Figure Halts Drunken Motorists on Danish Village Road, Son Reports
A Reddit user says his father has long recounted a ten-foot being with three thick fingers that shook its head and ended an ill-advised drive to the pub.
DENMARK — A Reddit user posting to r/HighStrangeness has set down an account he says his father has repeated for years: a roadside meeting with a towering, unhurried visitor in a small Danish village of perhaps 200 to 300 inhabitants.
According to the post, the father and his wife had been drinking and quarrelled before deciding to drive to a local pub. About half a kilometre along the road, the author writes, the car was stopped by a being roughly three metres tall, with long brown hair and a face described as calm and rather beautiful. The father cannot recall whether it had legs.
The figure, the post states, had three very thick, sausage-like fingers in place of hands. It is said to have laid them on the side mirror, looked at the occupants, smiled, and slowly shaken its head. The father, according to his son, understood at once that they would be going no further. The post adds that he could see the being in front of the car and in the rearview mirror at the same time.
The reactions differed. The wife, the author writes, panicked and ran screaming home, while the father froze, sitting paralysed before at last fleeing on foot as well. The car reportedly stood in the road until the next day.
The author notes that his father is elderly, does not use the internet, and so has not absorbed online UFO lore.
